Learn about how to defend the faith!

Letters of the Revelation

John’s Revelation is perhaps the most studied and discussed book in the Bible. It begins with seven letters to seven different churches of the day: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea. Revelation and this study explore their challenges, failures, expectations, and victories. Through careful examination of these churches, group members will discover the cultural implications for those times and the ways John’s prophetic vision applies today. Participants will develop a better context for end-times theology and gain a greater understanding of the task that faces the church right now. Individuals will be challenged to repent and reorient their lives to the mission of the church, as revealed in the prophecies of John. They will learn that modern churches have shortcomings like those of the churches of Asia. Yet there is still time to awake from spiritual lethargy and deadness and embrace the mission God has for His church today.

Life On Mission

The good news of God’s grace must be spoken. Other than one’s own salvation there may not be a greater joy than explaining the gospel and watching God do what only He can do: save people. We have developed a Five-Week video-driven Bible Study for groups that walks through God’s heart for His Mission and what it practically looks like to intentionally share the gospel.

Love & Respect

This 6 week Building Blocks DVD study features Emerson unpacking five of the life changing principles he presents at the Love and Respect conference and is a fantastic follow up for those who have read the book or attended a conference, but also serves as a wonderful introduction to the Love and Respect message.

Parenting By the Book

In Parenting by the Book, family psychologist Dr. John Rosemond offers biblical wisdom for raising children that reduces the anxiety and frustration that many parents experience today. Learn to raise responsible children who are responsible, compassionate citizens, who are a “delight” to your soul. At the end of each chapter are several questions for group discussion or personal reflection.

Answers to Frequently Asked Community Group Questions

If your specific question is not addressed here, feel free to contact us.

What are Community Groups?

Community Groups are small groups of people that meet in homes on a weekly basis for approximately an hour and a half.  These groups encourage friendships, and Biblical conversation in a relaxing environment.  Depending on the study, our groups meet anywhere from 6-8 weeks, during the Spring and Fall months.

What are the groups about?

Every host home is different depending on the leader’s gifts and passions.  Each group, however, participates in the same Bible study at the same time.  Each week’s session may consist of music, encouragement, fun, discussion, prayer and even food…chocolate if you’re lucky.

Where do they meet?

We have host homes in various locations in our community, so you won’t have to travel very far to attend.

Are there any age requirements for the groups?

No.  We want you to bring your whole family!  We encourage the fellowship of all ages in each group so we can learn from one another.  In our groups there is a curriculum for every age.  During discussion time, children are supervised, but separate from the adults.

When can I join one?

NOW!  You can join a group at any point, if the group is currently active.  Click here to sign up!
